**Solved**
I have an Alienware Aurora R7 desktop that I just bought so that I can run HTC Vive wireless. The desktop runs an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8700, 16BG DDR4 Memory, 2 TB Hard Drive with 32GB Intel Optane, it runs off a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB GDDR5X with windows 10 64bit.
The GTX 1080 card is in my PCIe x16 slot 1, it also has 2 PCIe x4 slots (only 1 I can get to) and one more PCIe x 16. I plug in the Wigig card into the PCIe x 4 slot that I can reach. When the Wigig card is installed I lose my display but when i reboot my system after uninstalling it I get my display back.
I then tried to install the wigig card and plugged my monitor into the onboard gpu and I would be able to see it start but once it got past the windows boot screen it would go black and I would lose the signal again.
I have tried plugging in the wigig into the PCIe x16 slot (the spare one) and it did not work then either. Could this be a problem with the Wigig card itself? I am out of ideas, I could really use some help!
