Hi all,

I'm looking for an ASUS motherboard to match;
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Processor 12C 24T

On Internet searching I found following link;
Best Motherboards For Ryzen 9 5900X – Comparison!
https://www.neogamr.net/best-motherboard-for-ryzen-9-5900x/

Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus motherboard ranks on top. Its price is not expensive. Although I don't game nor I need WIFI, I just leave them there.

On searching its specification I found;
TUF GAMING X570-PLUS
https://www.asus.com/hk-en/Motherboards-Components/Motherboards/TUF-Gaming/TUF-GAMING-X570-PLUS/

I need 2(two) NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 storage for
Code:
Samsung 2TB 980 PRO M.2 2280 MZ-V8P2T0BW PCIe Gen 4.0 x4, NVMe 1.3c SSD
But, on looking at its photos of the motherboard, it seems to me only 1 (one). Did I overlook it?

Please help. Thanks

Regards

You did overlook it, it says right there Dual M.2. Most ATX MBs have 2 but on x570 both are PCIe Gen 4 while on B550 second one is Gen3.

Thanks for your advice.

Yes, it is on the description. But on the photo of the mobo I only found it.
  • 2 x M.2 x4 PCIe Gen 4 & SATA mode
Sorry I don't know how to insert the screenshot here.

Second one is close to bottom, just right of PCIe x1 slot, bellow second PCIe x16 slot it's covered by heat sink.
Hi,

Is it just above "2 x RGB headers" on the photo ?

After removing the heat sink then I can see it ?

The head sink seems to me a plastic plate

The description says "Dual M.2....". Would it be one resting on top of another?

Thanks

If you remove that screw, you should be able to access second M.2 port. may look plastic but new MBs have plastic anti scratch foil that should be removed.
Best way to find most about something is to look at it's manual, gives most details.
