Problem with my computer. Ami bios, 1 long followed by 4 short beeps. Unable to look up what it means but I assume it's under the ram category. Also both my monitors seem to no longer get power. There's no lights on either of the monitors and nothing happens after my computer turns on (it stays turned on, fans spinning)

I've tried relocating memory sticks, both individual as well as swapped slots. I've yet to get another psu and cpu cooler

Solution
This has got to be the absolute dumbest problem I've ever encountered.. what the issue was, was a defected cpu fan motor. The fan was flawless in the eyes of my system, but upon further inspection of the parts (individually taken apart) I tried to plug in a free ran I had laying on my desk... which solved it.
No cpu warnings or anything relevant, just my own curiosity that eventually lead me to the fix. Thanks to all for the ideas, even though this solution was absolutely irrelevant to what we all thought could be the reason for the problem.
- my fan replacement is not a static pressure fan, so I'll need to go get a new one, but for now I'll have to suffice with a working air pressure fan.

(Idk how to mark it as solved when I found...
As for specs it's not exactly a brand new one and it has served me well in quite a few years.
Cpu fans are connected properly.

Cpu i5 4670k
Cpu fan corsair h100i (I also tried fitting the cm hyper evo 212 with no change of outcome)
Ram 16gb ballistix ram 9-9-9-24 timing
Gpu msi gtx 980
Psu Corsair cx750m
1 250gb Samsung evo 850 sad
1 500gb Samsungevo 850 ssd
Mobo Asus z87-a

The ASUS Z87 chipset motherboards use the following BIOS POST beep codes:

Well... I don't know what to say. There's no longer any beeps of any sort, computer runs fine though my monitors remain off. This is beginning to bother me. I can't diagnose it, haha

if nothing works and mainboard reports random stuff, the mainboard would be the problem, the first beep code iirc is ram or gpu, if you discarded those two and now mainboard is doing something different, to me is the mainboard but as you say, can't diagnose properly

Have you tried connecting monitors elsewhere to see if they come there? Maybe a power surge that could have affected the monitors more than anything - long shot i know but worth a shot if you can... connect them to laptop or something?
