[Solved] MSI z97 Gaming 7 Slow Post

I was trying to installing SteamOS last night for just shits and giggles using a ASMedia USB 3.0 port and when trying to do so I got the installer up but the keyboard and mouse were not working. So i powered of the machine and tried again with at least my keyboard in BIOS Mode. When I did so the computer started to be really slow on post first with the PCI Configuration but reseating my GPU seemed to fix that but now hangs for at least 10 seconds on Post Code 99 which is USB Initialization but will still post and boot into Windows.

When i boot back into windows none of my ASMedia usb 3.0 port work and in Device Manager it shows this under USB Controllers. "Unknown USB Device (Configuration Descriptor Request Failed)"

What happened here? How can i fix it?

SOLUTION: As posted below if you unplug the entire system and have no cables attached and leave it for 2 hours it some how fixes itself.

Weird thing is, today I was reorganizing my office and after I plugged my PC back in(had it unplugged for about an hour or so) it booted up fine and now the issue is gone.

So i guess try that just unplug it and everything from it and let it sit for a couple hours and then try it again
