So i just got done endlessly tinkering with a new build im making my dad.. Im getting power, fans are turning on, the mobo temp gauge and lights are on the cpu fan boots on but i get no display though hdmi nor VGA. I tried plugging in the pc speaker to the mobo and it just continuously beeps.

This build is

MB BIOSTAR|TA75M FM1 A75 R

ASUS XONAR_DG 5.1 Channels PCI Interface Xonar Sound

ASUS DRW Optical

Western Digital Blue 500GB.

OCZ Agility 2 60GB SSD

CORSAIR XMS 8GB (2 x 4GB)

AMD A8-3850 Llano 2.9GHz Socket FM1 100W

CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V

Sentey Black Box Series Case

Ive tried removing the ram and booting with only 1 stick in each slot both times

Connecting another PSU

Booted with 1 HDD

Disconnecting optical

Disconnecting all front ports and anything that isn't bare necessity for a functional boot

Re-seating the mobo and checking the standoffs to make sure they were not shorting it.

Re-seating the CPU

Im freakin stumped man, my only theory is that the mobo isn't functioning correctly or the cpu is shot. My moneys leaning towards the cpu because of the whole APU thing but im just not sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated

Ahh, have you tried jumping the Bios?

Also, does the motherboard have multiple onboard display connections? Try another.

thanks for replying, I actually figured the problem out the day before yesterday, turns out both sticks of ram were dead (corsair may make great psu's but turns out their memory....not so good). Thanks for the replies i will go ahead and mark this as solved and stick with Gskill ram.
