[SOLVED] Newly built PC won't turn on.

Hello. So I tried to build a new PC from a scratch yesterday. After I put all the things together, the computer just won't start at all. I really don't know what's wrong. Is there a chance that the PSU is damaged somehow? I double-checked all the cables, I tried to swap the POWER SW and RESET SW to see, if the POWER SWITCH cable isn't damaged. I also tried to turn on the mobo with screwdriver. But still with no success. Even the PSU Fan won't turn on.
So these are the components:
AMD A10-7870K Black Edition Low Noise Cooler [APU]
GIGABYTE F2A88X-D3HP Motherboard
Kingston 8GB KIT DDR3 1866MHz CL10 HyperX Fury Red Series RAM
AKASA Venom Voodoo Cooler
Fortron Hyper S 700 PSU

The other things like HDD,Case, etc., are not important, cuz I am unable to start PC at all just with all the necessary things connected.

So I'm in "Test Mode" as I said just with all the necessary things connected:

There is the ATX cable connected to the mobo:

The ATX 12V cable is also connected same as the CPU FAN cable.

I'm really confused, how can I determine the problem?
I would be really thankful for any help.

Is there an on/off switch on the back of your PSU?

Is the power outlet in the wall working?

Yep, I tried 3 power outlets and the power switch is turned on.

That doesn't help me much. I know how to build a PC, I'm not doing this for the first time. As I said I connected the ATX and ATX 12V cables to the mobo so as the CPU FAN. There is an APU, so there is nothing to do with connecting GPU. And the PC should start just with APU, FAN, and RAM. It would give me an error later, but at least it would start.

Hi there,

Is there a power On/Off switch/Reset switch on the motherboard? You could try turning the system on without the case power switch to see if the cabling is wrong somewhere.
No LEDs blink or even a fan twitch after pushing the power button?
Do you have a Multimeter on anything that could help you determine if the PSU is not faulty? If not, (and that is maybe even better) try the PSU on a different system whether it works or not.

I have no idea what your user experience is. The guide goes through pretty much every single "user-error" item you could have. I have built dozens of PCs and even I have forgotten to put the 4pin/8pin connector back a couple times.

If all connections are correct then my imeediate guess would be that junk PSU you have is DOA (which on the bright side is better then it not being dead at time of purchase but instead dying and taking out most of your computer with it).

You can test your power supply by doing the "paper-clip test". Bend a paperclip into a U shape, unplug the 24pin connector from motherboard, jump the green wire (pin 16) to any black ground wire in the connector and if the PSU is good it shoudl turn on.

No the motherboard doesn't have power switches, but I tried to start the PC with screwdriver (touching both + and - power switch poles on front panel), but still no luck. No LEDs blinks or fan twitching both on CPU Fan and PSU Fan (I think that the PSU Fan starts to spin at 15-20% load, or am I wrong?). I didn't have enough time today, but I'm gonna test the PSU rn with another system and I'll keep you informed. Thanks for the tip.

Yep, I understand that you can't know my experience, but I posted images of all important things connected, so you can easily see the problem if something wasn't connected.

So just tried this awesome test and the PSU works! Thank you for your suggestion this test is really useful. So should I try the APU with another motherboard ? I have another mobo with FM2 socket support.

Got it guys 3 pins in ATX connector are damaged. I can run everything smoothly on another mobo. Thank you for your help guys!
