[SOLVED] [Solved] No USB 3 on my motherboard

Hi!

On my tower there are two USB 3.0 Front Ports two USB 2.0 Front Ports. My motherboard does not accept 3.0. I want to know if I can remove these useless "sockets" and the cable attached and replace them by two USB 2.0 Ports.

What motherboard model? You could possibly buy an addon card, for USB 3.0 capability. They also make adapters that allow you to connect a USB 2.0 header, to a 3.0 plug. Removing them, and replacing them with 2.0 ports is more hassle than you need to take on.
