Hello,

I've been reading around the web people asking about this for a long time without a clear solution..

Problem:
I have 2 Way SLI setup (GTX 970) + 4 Screens with 1080p resolution
I needed to span 3 and keep the 4th as an accessory screen, so the system will have 2 screens.

Solution:

    1. Connect all screens to one card, you might need to hook the 4th screen with the HDMI port, the remaining 3, one to a display port and 2 to the remaining 2 DVI ports.
    2. Go to your Nvidia Control Panel>3D Settings>Configure SLI, Surround, PhysX
    3. Choose "Span displays with Surround" then click on "Configure..."
    4. Choose the 1x3 topology, Select the first 3 displays (Display port + DVI + DVI)
    5. Arrange them correctly by drag & drop the screens, then apply.
    6. Now you have a Surround setup and a 4th blank screen, correct? Go to Nvidia Control Panel>Display>Set up multiple displays
    7. you will see your Surround screens as one monitor and the 4th screen as a second monitor, select, arrange and..

Enjoy!
