Question --SOLVED-- NZXT H510 ELITE - Help with 2 cables

Pic #1 is an RGB connector - should connect to your motherboard header (ensure 4pin, not 3pin).

Pic #2 is a USB Type-C connector - not sure if your motherboard has a header for it or not. Typically the header is located near the 24pin ATX, but I don't see one.

Looks like your board is the X570 Gaming Pro Carbon Wifi?
If so, the RGB 4pin header is above the RAM slots - but you have no type-C header onboard.
You could add a PCIe add-in card if you really wanted to .

Thanks for the fast reply ,

  1. Yes there is no type-C near that I think. In this case do I just leave it there blank?
  2. But that cable the 4 pin one is really short how do I connect it to my mobo?
  3. It's the X570 MSI carbon Wifi yes although I am super new so I am not sure what a PCIe add-in card is.
  4. The cpu pwr1 and pwr2 I got the corsair RM 750 mobo and I can't plug the right hand side as you can see from the picture, is it fine? I did plug the 4+4 only.
  5. I am attaching a picture of the motherboard now before I start fitting the kraken x63 just to clarify where to plug that rgb cable which is really short.

I am sorry for all these questions it's just my first build and I need to clarify some things out. Thanks in advance

1. Yes, if you've no header, you cannot connect it (right now at least).

2. I'd have to check out reviews of the case, as I think it had a built in smart hub.. thing, for controlling RGB devices - so you might not need to connect to the board. But not 100% sure.
If you did, the RGB header is right above the RAM slots - I can't zoom in on the picture to confirm, but looking at the manual, it should be straight up from the RAM slots and slightly to the left. Should be labelled on the board.

3. PCIE add-in, is exactly as it sounds. A card that you mount in the PCIe slot (like a GPU does), that gives you additional connectivity. In this example, a USB-C internal header.

4. I can't zoom in on the pictures, unfortunately I'm assuming theres a 4+4 (standard) and an additional 4 pin for CPU/EPS power? If so, the additional 4 pin is optional.

I just installed the krakren x63, the manual says nothing about cables so there are 2 that i am not sure.. it's a 3 pin one that i connected to a 4 pin slot saying pump fan 1, and the other one I am not sure were to connect it. I will attach pictures. And also I will show the device behind my case... maybe we can figure out a way to plug the rgb connector?
