Hello, i wanted to try W11 and it told me to enable secure boot so i did...
After this the system doesn't POST successfully and gets stuck on VGA error with 5 short beeps.
I'm sure this is because the system wants to display from onboard graphics but i have a i5 9600KF which has no onboard graphics.
I have tried shorting the cmos pins and removing the battery. which both do not work.
I have checked the voltage on the <CMOS> battery which still has enough voltage(3.2)

Im lost please help

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: After shorting the bios chip(PIN 1 & 6) it managed to boot into the backup bios. Thankfully from there i could reset the bios propperly. its now working again.

one fix is indeed swap to igpu but you can't - https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/5-short-beeps-no-post.3734890/

this was fixed by removing bios jumper - https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2299290-pc-beeps-5-short-times-upon-startup

Gigabyte motherboard? which one?

this is how you should enable secure boot on a Gigabyte board

Steps to enable (all AMD-based Gigabyte mobos) Secure Boot. Make sure fTPM is enabled. Make sure CSM is disabled. In Secure Boot, select custom under Secure Boot Mode, Select Restore Factory Keys, Say YES to reset without saving.

When BIOS restarts, access BIOS and change Secure Boot Mode back to Standard and then Yes to restart without save.

Let Windows boot fully.

Use msinfo to verify that Secure Boot State is on.

Its a Gigabyte Z390 Gaming Mobo,

i dont have a bios jumper iirc, woudnt this also be the same as shorting the cmos pins?
I just get a black screen, i cant even get into the bios right now.
I've tried almost everything it seems.
I'm thinking about going to a repair shop to let them try with an processor with onboard graphics chip. But would like to refrain from it since money is short atm.
