Hi!

If I OC to 5Ghz and 1.290 volts, or 1.350 volts, it stays at 4Ghz, and wont go higher. If I run stock and running a test with OCCT it wont go higher than 3.6Ghz. Can it be my MB that's incompatible with the CPU regarding OC? I have pulled the battery, but didn't help.

When at 5Ghz the info in bios says it's OC'd to 5Ghz. At stock turbo is set at 4.9Ghz. Got the latest bios v.

The CPU I replaced was an i3 8350K, that was stable at 4.9Ghz and 1.305V.

Bus speed is underclocked. Current 80Mhz, orginal 100Mhz. If set to 5Ghz it runs at 4Ghz, if set to 4.8Ghz it runs at 3.8Ghz.

Windows 10 Home that fooled me.

cat /proc/cpuinfo in Linux:

processor : 1
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 158
model name : Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz
stepping : 12
microcode : 0xa2
cpu MHz : 5000.001

At idle it runs at 800Mhz. Is that normal?

Edit: Got performance in the power options in Win10.
