I looked at the mobo link. The RAM link was broken.

Here are the RAM specs on Gigabyte's website:

Two modules - DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 16 GB of system memory - Dual channel
DDR3 2200(OC)/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules

Can you re-post the memory link? Or post the memory specs of the one you are considering.

But how come on that QVL list it says 4GB? is this a typo or were they using 1 module?

It will run the modules but will downclock them to 1333.

It's just an example , it will work but will run it at 1333.
