Need a little help. I need to upgrade my video card to handle Diablo IV as well as Auto Desk Fusion 360, Blender, FreeCad, and Cura. Mainly Diablo. I am not sure what is compatible with my current 10-year-old build.

I would like to make it a little futureproof as I want to start building toward a more updated computer, but funds are stressed at the moment so, you work with what you have right? I would like to keep it at $300 or less, less is better but keep future proof in mind as well. I have a couple of cards I have been looking at. I was hoping you could confirm them or make a better suggestion.

ASUS STRIX-GTX970-DC2OC-4GD5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4Go cartegraphique

ASUS PH-GTX1050TI-4G GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 Graphics Card

ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 Overclocked 6G GDDR6 Dual-Fan EVO Edition VRReady HDMI DisplayPort DVI Graphics Card (DUAL-RTX2060-O6G-EVO)

All of the above are on Amazon.

Thank you for looking

P.S. I do not mind a refurbished or renewed product, provided they have a warranty. It would have to be a h3ll of a buy to be a used one but I am open to it.

Solution
Pretty much all GPUs are VR Ready, they only say that because they are expecting it will manage the 90FPS that is needed to avoid nausea in most VR titles.

Certainly take the RTX3060 over the RTX2060 if you don't mind spending the extra $80.

Take a look at the different recommendations here:

This will give you a good idea as to what is going to be needed for Diablo IV as it is a graphically intense game. You may be lacking in other areas other than just your GPU.

That was awesome!
It did say I could play it as is but I just did scrape by. Everything looks great except the GPU at...
Minimum:
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 or AMD RAdeon R9 280
You have:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670

You have

So it would likely need to be set at the lowest level. According to the recommendations, the GTX 970 would move the graphics to the lowest of the high settings. If that is at all understandable. I was wondering if the 1050 ti was worth the investment in difference between it and the 970. Then I wondered (thinking future prep) if the RTX2060 would even work.

I am however open to any suggestions. You, folks, know much more than I do.
Thank you for the reply and that cool link.

I believe your motherboard is going to be UEFI, so you shouldn't have difficulty with modern GPUs.

PCIe 3.0 on the 3770k, which only puts you a single revision behind (realistically, there aren't really any PCIe 5.0 GPUs yet)

900 series is currently the last supported generation from Nvidia, which means support will end relatively soon. GTX 970 4GB has a pretty serious flaw. Only 3.5GB of the memory is directly addressable, when you exceed 3.5GB of VRAM it will start stuttering. If you can find a GTX980 for a similar price, that would be the way to go.

1050Ti 4GB is a little light. Even though it is newer than the 970, it is a much smaller GPU. GTX1060 6GB would be better for a more long term solution.

RTX2060 is quite a bit faster, if that isn't too much it is a good choice and the extra 2GB of memory is worthwhile.

AMD RX6600 brand new $199:

If you want to take a small risk, Intel GPU at $220:

RTX3060 $265

Newest GPU on the market, $269:

Take a look at this for a comprehensive look at various GPUs and Diablo 4 performance.

All of the new cards listed have a quite good showing at 1080p Medium settings. You will probably get less with the older CPU, but the GPU capability will be there.

The GTX 1070 plays nice with older systems and can still play anything you throw at it depending of the game settings you use.
