SOLVED Threads list the "Best Solution" twice in a row ?

Hello everyone,

OK. Here is another silly question from my side. So please bear with me. I just noticed this today. As you can see all the threads and Topics which are being marked as SOLVED, display the BEST solution twice in a row. The best solution given is listed two times under any topic.

Not a big deal, LOL, but I'm just curious to know why there are 2 instances of the same answer ??.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the solution has been listed two times... All SOLVED threads exhibit this same behavior, if I'm NOT mistaken.

It makes more sense in threads where there are more than 2 replies, as it could mean you save self looking through many pages. Forums just trying to be helpful.

If you ever see two different answers getting BA in same thread, it could be the result of a thread merger. We try not to merge questions that have BA but it sometimes happens and we go, how did this question get 2 answers

IMO, doing that is going to be a bit confusing though. I didn't know two different replies can also be awarded as the best answer.

It might have been a merge of two different threads from the same OP, both with BA's.

We try to not merge things that already have a BA, but it happens.

Same person, 2 different questions about same topic, both have BA awarded, later merged. We can't undo a merge or you would never see it
