[Solved] Windows 7 resolution can\'t go as high as before

my resolution in windows 7 32 bit & the settings said 8 bit so i could not config it so if you can help me fix it i would be greatful

If you're seeing 8bit in your display settings it's probably 'color depth' and not 'resolution'.

I think he's confused screen resolution (1280x1024, 1366x768, 1920x1080, etc.)
with color depth (8bit, 16bit, 24bit, etc.)
At least I think that's where he's confused.


32bit color is best for Windows 7:
Windows 7 - Color Bit Depth - Display Settings suggests how to change the color depth.

I that 'solved' bit was that way in his original post and he didnt understand what it meant to the MOD crew.
