Question [SOLVED] Wireless ear buds no audio over Bluetooth

For a few days there's no audio coming through wireless ear buds on PC. Same issue with other ear buds, but no problems with other laptops with either ear buds. Windows detects audio output, but no actual sound. I tried about any fix you can find on the internet. Drivers, troubleshooters, power settings, device manager and services apps, etc.

Anybody having an idea what it could be, if any solution that is supposed to work simply doesn't? Wireless devices such as mouse and keyboard work just fine. Ear buds work fine connected via an audio dongle (Creative BT-W6).

EDIT:
Hard to believe I solved the issue myself.

I had to install a different driver of the wireless device itself.

Device Manager > Sound, video and game controller > right click *name of the device* and select Properties > Update Driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer

Selected "Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp Source" and audio returned to normal.

Type "services.msc" in windows search.
Go to the bluetooth services section in the list and you should see 3 services.
Double-click each one and click start on all three.
Once they are running, try the earbuds to test.

Great job !

Thanks. I'm actually proud of myself, lol.

A throwback to the days where Internet was no help and you had to dig for gold yourself.
