Hello! So I'm looking to put another 500-800$ into my computer! However while I'm aware I have a pretty decent pc I really wanna take it from a decent pc to a beast of a pc. My current specs are:
Windows 10, I5 4690k, gtx 970, 16gb ram. 600w power supply, gigabyte h97m-d3h (really looking to upgrade this as I cannot even OC on it.) and a 250gb SSD.
What do you think I should put my money into? Please no you really don't need an upgrade responses. I have the spare money and this is what I'd like to do with it and I just want some people's opinions!:)

To be honest, you build is already pretty good. You could buy a motherboard but that would only net you overclocking.

The best upgrade you could probably do is getting a 5820k + mobo + RAM. This would set your computer up to be a beast for a long time and would give you overclocking. You could recoup allot of the cost by selling your old parts as well.
Ok! Thanks for the heads up! I actually own Windows 8.1 but upgraded the system to Windows 10 for free. I'm pretty sure you can upgrade from 8 to 10 for free if I'm not mistaken.

You can but if you already upgraded the license I don't think they will let you do it if you already upgraded the same license once. If that were possible, one person could upgrade all their computers with only one windows key.
