Hi
just a quick question im planning a all intel build got a ROG STRIX B760-I GAMING WIFI mobo with 8+1+2 VRM and i can currently get a 14600kf at a really cheap price its not a main build just a build for fun was wondering if the VRMs will be enough for the 14600kf ??
the build will be a ARC 770 16gb was going to use a 13600k but the 14600kf is super cheap !!
wont be overclocking ( well maybe for a test but usually will be run at stock ) or anything like that just a build

If this is a build for fun, buy a non F processor. The integrated graphics is very good for all but fast action games.
How does the price of a 14500 compare?
It will come with a very good rm1 cooler.
The savings of a F processor is minimal and having integrated graphics for testing and backup is worth it, at least to me.

I also have a fun pc with the same rog strix B760-wifi motherboard.
I stuffed a i9-12900K in it and used a RM1 cooler.
The case only has a single 140mm intake and yet I can run the cpu-Z stress test with only a minimal amount of throttling.

Thank you
actually i can get the 14600kf for $399aud same price for the 14500 $399aud .. there is a sale on with a 20% discount coupon so for the same price as the 14500 and $50-60aud cheaper than the 13600kf it seems like a good buy ..

( personally i think the 14th is a waste but if its cheaper than the 13600kf and its lightly less performance or close to it its kinda a no brainer )

Its also $70aud cheaper than the14600k

Ive got coolers coming out of my arse noctua NH-U12A , thermalright phantom sprirt 120 evo , Deepcool AK500 digital ..

Any of them should cool it fine !!

Im using the ARC770 16gb in a fractal define 7 nano

As for integrated graphics ive got a few GPU's floating around if the ARC dies being as its a bit of a fun build not sure its a huge issue
