Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs.

Hello, My PC Build i made at http://pcpartpicker.com/p/78RMWZ is saying that maybe Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards need a bios update prior visdhera cpus? Does that mean it isnt compatible with the mobo or do i have to use a different bios?

The CPU is supported. No BIOS update needed.

As a rule of thumb any new motherboard should have the latest bios flashed when building a system. Even high end 990FX boards sometimes have newer bios updates available and applying the latest updates can yield better performance (and sometimes better overclocking options).
