Some build advice & thoughts?

Looking for some advice or thoughts on this build. I want to be able to max out games at 1080p/1440p without problems, my ideal vision for this build was something that could run skyrim on ultra with some dopeass enbs and those mods that make the npcs look like waifu material. Please if you find something wrong with this current build or don't like a certain part please don't recommend anything AMD related in its place, trying to go strictly intel on this build while also trying to keep costs low. I've just had way too many problems with amd over the better part of a decade now, yes im aware they have ryzen and yada yada out now but im just not in a position where i want to support them any longer.

Sidenote: Pc partpicker says my hyper evo isn't compatible with my current case but i can assure you it fits, if barely.

No the cooler will not fit, it is 159mm height while your case supports only 150mm max height coolers. Also be aware the 212 would only allow a mild overclock of the 8600k, there are better coolers out there, the 212 has sorta become outdated.

The Cryorig H7 will fit and cools a bit better then the 212, but still not going to be able to go super high.

Also I've never heard of that brand of PSU, it really is advised to not cheap out on a power supply, and at 28 bucks that is probably a pretty cheaply made PSU, especially on a build with higher end components such as yours., I would suggest a Seasonic FOCUS Gold 550 watt,EVGA G2/G3 550 or Corsair TX 550, which ever is cheaper.

I see that you are a man of culture XD

Unfortunately, for a heavily modded skyrim, 6 cpu threads might fall short.

On the other hand, you don't need crazy ghz like close to 5.0 for 144hz in skyrim since it's an old game.

With those in mind :

EWW AMD

Also @Richie the 212 does fit, its in my current pc right now :p

"Sidenote: Pc partpicker says my hyper evo isn't compatible with my current case but i can assure you it fits, if barely." but yea I will look at that cooler you mentioned and the one thing im worried about is my PSU so i will probably look up a good replacement as well.

I've been watching videos on youtube of super modded skyrim at 1440p loaded with enbs with the same CPU and they were getting 60fps
