some downloads exceeding my isp max downloading speed limit

hey guys ! i have a very very slow internet connection 1 mb - yes, it exists 😀 - which means my download speed generally ranges between 100 - 130 kb\s ! lately i found out that downloading driver updates from nvidia or any downloads from microsoft raises my download speed too 400-500 kb\s ! similarly downloading some youtube vids - not all of them - get the same 400-500 kbs speed !! can anyone explain this ?! can i use this to my advantage well u know what i mean any info of how this works and why some downloads exceeds my isp limit for me is very much appreciated 😀

Your ISP may be doing some sort of traffic shaping and allowing local cached data to transfer faster.

thanx for ur quick reply : ) if that's the case why some youtube vids exceed my limit while others not ! ok let's say u r right is there anyway i can benefit from that or at least recognize which data exceeds my limit !

These kinds of setups are entirely custom and it just really depends. Unless you notice a pattern, enjoy the faster speeds when they happen.
