Hello, everybody. 🙂
I have problem with playing Delicious Game Series (with Emily, hopefully somebody might know) in Windows XP. It doesn't matter if Home Edition or Professional or 64bit. These games don't save in Windows XP, but in Windows Vista or newer they do.
I have been looking for help in Big Fish Games forum. There I found out that this problem could be caused by disabled Administrator rights. I tried everything, running games from Administrator account in Windows XP Professional, setting "Run as Administrator" or running games from account that definitely has Administrator rights. No result!
Other games run fine, but Delicious (third chapter and newer - there are 15 chapters at all I think) Games don't. What is the problem? I should mention too that upgrading to newer version of OS is also another problem I have mention four days ago in other thread.
Thanks for replies and have a nice day. 🙂

Solution
Just like ragnar said, you might not have permissions set. Below is the link to a registry hack "Take Ownership". I am using it under Win 10, can confirm it works. At the bottom of the page, there is a download link, just download and run the file.

https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/add-take-ownership-to-explorer-right-click-menu-in-vista/

After that give your main game directory all permissions.
Try by installing the game in a separete "C:\Games\<whatever_game_of_yours>\".
Create the C:\Games\ directory first.
Then set "Full rights" for your user on that directory and subdirectories.
Then install the game there.
Does that help?
Do you need more detailed instructions?
