Some games won't launch on my PC!

I've been able to run many games perfectly fine, from things like TF2 to something like Skyrim or Tomb Raider, there haven't been too any issues. For some reason, however, about 10-13 of my games never work. Whenever I launch the game (say, from steam or origin), steam/origin/whatever says that the game is preparing to launch, then says I'm playing the game....but the game never launches. When I look under processes in task manager I find the game's process, but never the .exe. I've tried completely deleting/redownloading, various compatibility modes, running as administrator, running without using the launcher, making exceptions for firewalls, rebooting, and even just plain waiting. Yet NOTHING has worked! Dishonored and L4D2 worked perfectly fine on a weaker rig than my current one, yet something is messing up them, and all these other games as well. Goat Simulator, A Story About My Uncle, Left 4 Dead 2, League of Legends, Battlefield 3, and Dishonored are a few of the affected games.

My specs are as follows
AMD Raedon HD 8670D graphics card
AMD Elite Quad-Core A10-6700 Accelerated processor
12GB DDR3 System Memory
Windows 8.1
Please, if anyone knows of any solutions, let me know. I've been trying for about a year now to fix this.

Solution
Deinstall display drivers, Re-install display drivers , update to the latest version of your display drivers.
Update .net framework.
Update Direct X.
Run games in administrator mode.
Disable antivirus and firewalls to try if thats blocking the game.
Press CTRL SHIFT ESC and look at the processes if the game is actually running or gets shut down.
Try to run the games in compatibility mode for Windows 7.
Boot computer into safemode and try to run the games from there.

Final solution : make a backup from your HDD and format ur drive, reinstall windows and this time try 32 bit if you have 64 and vise versa,

Good luck
