Hey everyone ,
I was planning to buy this Rig :

MSI 970 GAMING Socket AM3+ Motherboard

Western Digital (WD) Caviar BLUE WD10EZEX 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache HDD

XFX TS Series 650W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (P1-650S-NLB9)

Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 1.5v (HX318C10F/8)

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz Eight Core 16MB Processor AM3+

SAPPHIRE NITRO R9 380 4GB GDDR5 OC

Then someone told me that if u want to OC your FX cpu u will need a bigger cpu
Due to the budget I changed the graphic card cause I know that all AMD's products are wattage hungry !!

So I changed the graphic card to a :
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 4GB GDDR5 WINDFORCE 2X (GV-N960WF2OC-4GD)

Now I have 3 Q :

1- Now after I changed my graphic card can I OC my cpu ? How far ? ( planning to 4.4 )

2- Will a CYROIG H7 will be good ?? I saw people Oc'ing on a 212 Evo SO ?

3- Should I leave the AMD rig and go to INTEl ? ( Someone did suggest me that )

And this is the Intel RIG : ( I really didn't like it )

Intel Core I5-4460 Haswell 3.2GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor

Western Digital (WD) Caviar BLUE WD10EZEX 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache HDD

2x Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 4GB DDR3 1600MHz CL10 1.5v (HX316C10F/4)

Gigabyte GA-P81-D3 Socket 1150 Motherboard

SeaSonic S12II Bronze 620W 80 PLUS Certified PSU

SAPPHIRE NITRO R9 380 4GB GDDR5 OC

Note : I wanna the best rig for gaming which will give me the best fps in games , so I dont want any one have Intel says take Intel and who have AMD says take AMD I wanna the best for this budget !

Solution
A solid build mate you can never go wrong with this one, I like the case, for the storage solution it would be perfect if you managed to get the Seagate SSHD, the Fury ram is great also the Savage series will be a worthy consideration here, the mobo is perfect, the graphics card is perfect but my recommendation goes for the Sapphire Nitro as till now with the AMD line nothing outperforms the Nitro series from Sapphire, the psu is very good Evga has some of the best lines for the time being especially (and if you have the money for it) the GS and G2 series, the cpu is great but have you decided which cooler you will go for but if you want my advice since you are going to overclock the 8320 to at least 4.0 (or 4.4 as you are planning) in...

I am in Egypt , I edited and I will go to buy without case so these are the parts which I need

CPU RAM GPU PSU HARD MOBO

My budget is 730 Dollar for this 6 parts

Hands down Intel outperforms AMD for gaming, if gaming is your only concern, an i3(4170 or 4370) is cheaper than an i5 and nearly equally as good in most games, and the extra money saved there can be put towards a better GPU which has the biggest impact on gaming.

Unless you also want to do a lot of video editing, the AMD will underperform pretty vastly for you, as you'll rarely use all 8 of it's cores, since most games aren't programmed to use more than 1-2 cores, and usually only 4 at most, but video editing software will make good use of the AMD's 8 cores and actually be the better choice there.

Unfortunately, I can't really find any prices for stuff in egypt, but what your have listed as your Intel rig is pretty good. Only concern is there is a CHANCE the motherboard won't come with the updated BIOS needed to support your CPU, but an h97 or z97 chipset motherboard will. (your's is an h81, part of the h87 and z87 family, they can support the newer intel CPUs like yours with a BIOS update, but that's only if the seller/manufacturer did it, and I can't guarantee that it will have the update applied, and you can't apply it without a working CPU.)

I don't think i3 is going to give me more performance than the 8320 as I am going to over lock it it will be better or the same as i5 4690

Next u can find every price of every electronic thing in Egypt in this website

Egprices.com

And Thanks!!! For ur replay

CPU Clock speed doesn't mean anything when comparing 2 different CPUs, you'd have to OC the 8300 to something insane to meet an i5's performance. An i5-4690 is 50% faster than a 8320 at base. You'd have to OC it to 8GHZ (you'd have to use liquid nitrogen to do it: Link) to match the i5.

An i3-4170 is about 30% better than a FX-8320 and 20% cheaper. The FX is only better if you're doing workstation tasks like video editing or 3d model rendering.

And of course you can get it in a lower cost by negotiating plus the prices aren't being constantly updated, and if you want to go into the overclocking path (and I do not recommend that) then you might want to check these coolers and they are LGA 1150 and AM3+ compatible: http://www.egprices.com/en/product/cooler-master-blizzard-t2-cpu-cooler-ram-technology , http://www.egprices.com/en/product/zalman-cnps5x-performa-cpu-cooler-el-frencya , http://www.egprices.com/en/product/cooler-master-hyper-tx3-evo-cpu-cooler-ram-technology , http://www.egprices.com/en/product/cooler-master-hyper-103-cpu-cooler-el-badr-group , http://www.egprices.com/en/product/cooler-master-hyper-212-evo-turbo-edition-cpu-cooler-el-badr-group , and make sure you have enough room for the cooler inside your case.

Just some quick notes regarding buying graphics cards (and the same goes for SSDs for being the latest tech) in Egypt as vendors tend to increase the prices of GPUs with more than a reasonable cost because the upgrade trend of a GPU is very high compared to other computer parts so they do this to increase their profits, and from this point I suggest that you at least check the online stores such as Newegg, Amazon, etc... and especially newegg, take for example the gtx 960 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487128, besides the price difference note the offer on the gtx 960 and that's something most likely you won't see it with Egypt vendors because most of the times the extras or gifts that comes with a product they take it and sell it as it's own component, another example is for the Seagate SSHD (but this one is 2 tb) as you will notice a free game with it http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178380

As for a recommendation for a store in Egypt you will find El-Badr Group, the store seems legit based on the feedback over their facebook page, and also I have used their offers in Egprices for the builds I have posted here because most of the PC parts were at their store and don't mind the parts being out of stock as most of the times the pages isn't being updated, you can find them here https://www.facebook.com/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%B1-%D8%AC%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%A8-1523258637940663/timeline/

One last notice regarding your PC rig that I suggest to go with the R9 380 Nitro 4GB whether you decided to go with an Intel or AMD build. Good luck mate :)

Yes I was planning to buy from there and thx for ur replay and I have decided to go with this rig :

ZALMAN Z3 Plus Mid Tower Case

Western Digital (WD) Caviar BLUE WD10EZEX 1TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200 RPM 64MB Cache HDD

Kingston HyperX FURY Blue 8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 1.5v (HX318C10F/8)

MSI 970 GAMING Socket AM3+ Motherboard

Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 380 G1 Gaming 4G GDDR5 (GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD)

AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz Eight Core 16MB Processor AM3+

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B2 Bronze PSU

I think it is better because this power supply is better than the GM series from cooler master and some people don't recommend overclocking an fx 8320 on a M5A97 R.2 and THX

A solid build mate you can never go wrong with this one, I like the case, for the storage solution it would be perfect if you managed to get the Seagate SSHD, the Fury ram is great also the Savage series will be a worthy consideration here, the mobo is perfect, the graphics card is perfect but my recommendation goes for the Sapphire Nitro as till now with the AMD line nothing outperforms the Nitro series from Sapphire, the psu is very good Evga has some of the best lines for the time being especially (and if you have the money for it) the GS and G2 series, the cpu is great but have you decided which cooler you will go for but if you want my advice since you are going to overclock the 8320 to at least 4.0 (or 4.4 as you are planning) in order to match the 8350 and with that you will pay for a top quality cooler which in the end the total cost will be equal to a 8350 or maybe even more so why not cutting the road from half and getting the 8350 with a decent cooler or you could delay the overclocking plan and remain with the stock cooling until you manage to get the the cpu cooler you are looking for.

Just for fun notes, since you are planning to buy black/red mobo maybe you would want to look at the HyperX Fury Red or the Savage or maybe in the future upgrades the ideal set would be two fury black sticks and two fury red sticks (with the same model and frequency of course), also getting the MSI Twin Frozer R9 380 gaming will add a nice touch, but these just are for fun notes.

Bottom line, whatever your decision is and whether you took these suggestions under consideration or not in the end your new PC will be an amazing build and it will give you an excellent performance for any game on 1080p and you can play as long as you like with a peace of mind.

Thank u for ur replay again , I am going for an ssd but in future . For the fun notes :) in Egypt we have only the 2GB version of the TWINFROZER and it is more expensive than the nitro 4 GB , For the RAM I think Blue will add a good color to the case as it have a blue led fan , for the cooling I will be going for the Cooler Master 120V Sedion but in future to as i dont think I need to overclock it in the moment .

You are quite welcome, well you are all set and ready to go you have a very accurate and effective plan for your build so go get it tiger, happy gaming in advance mate :)

Thx Mate 😀
