So I recently built a PC* first time ever*
And I notice that the top of the case will get warm when I do gaming..I have my exhaust fan in the back set to a higher RPM than its default

This is my build..I am thinking of rewiring the whole thing on the weekend to get better cable management, to help get better air flow in my case

[edit] Would adding blowing air in/ would I be able to add another 120 mm fan to the side of the case?

For case air flow, you want negative pressure which means you have ore air being sucked out of the case rather than more being sucked inside. If you have more air coming in than you system can such out, you will have excess hot air floating in your case. I personally have 2 front intakes, one fan in back sucking out, and 2 fans up top of my case sucking out too. This gives me one more fan to suck that to pull in.

Working on your cable management will alone help you a lot with good airflow and a cooler...quieter PC.

I have 1 120mm in the lower front pushing cold air in, and another 120mm in the upper back sucking air out...I noticed the hottest it got was when I was testing out a Tom Clancy game..Could it be that since my CPU wasn't good enough..Then game was pushing my CPU past what it could do,creating even more heat?

Yes, in theory it would. I actually have the same CPU as you and I have yet found a game that would use it all up. Games don't really use the cpu that much and the fx6300 is pretty gooda.
