I would like to know if 1 1440p monitor and 2 1080p monitors would look nice together, gaming on the 1440p one, and using the other two for productivity. My concerns are as follows. Will my frames be lowered to the point where I can't play games at ultra? I have a 980 ti zotac amp extreme. Is 1440p worth it? Would ultrawide be better? Thanks for any help.

A lot of people are saying that 1080p at 120hz to 144hz looks better than 1440p at 60hz. So, 1080p can be a good route to take if you are worried about FPS. Your FPS will definitely suffer with the multi-monitor setup. What games do you play, and why do you want more monitors?

You mention productivity? You can still run 3 monitors but only use one for gaming. That way your FPS will stay high and you can go 1440p or 1080p at 144hz.
