Right now if you try and ping or connect to my public IP it doesn't respond. I have a server I'm trying to setup so I have to fix this. I have IPv6 disabled on the machine. I have your basic ports open, and I was able to get around this with a OpenVPN connection but I don't want to use that. Any reason this would be the case.

Using ufw
I don't think it's ufw because I disabled it and it still happens.
The no ping was due to a router setting but the other connections still don't all work.
