Some of my Laptop keys stopped working

I formatted my system to install win 7 professional, after then some of the my laptop keys stopped working. Anything to do that can fix this problem friend, I will be really grateful. Don't want to re-format again.

I've tried rebooting, updating keypad drivers, turning on and off "filter keys", so far, so good nothing as worked still. Any help guys?

Did this happen exactly after you installed Windows 7? What about using an external keyboard? Boot off a Linux Live CD, see if all keys work then. If they do, go back to booting normally and wait for all the Windows 7 updates to finish, make sure you have SP1 installed. If they don't work in Linux either, re-seat the keyboard. If that does not help, try a replacement keyboard.
