Some of my Metro Apps crash

Hi,

My Windows 10 PC is displaying a weird error - upon clicking on one of the apps below, they all immediately appear for a second, and then promptly crash.

Movies & TV
Groove Music
Voice Recorder
Mail
Calendar
Photos
Windows Store
Phone Helper
Skype Videos
Weather
Twitter

And when I try playing an .mp4 file, this shows on the Movies & TV.

Unable to open ~/whatever.mp4
The app did not start.

Well, duh, of course the app did not start. But why?

Do you guys know how to fix such a problem?

Never mind, I figured out how.

For those of you who are having trouble like me, try this in PowerShell
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

If that doesn't work close all apps and try again. If that doesn't work, then reboot and try again. If that doesn't work, then go to safe mode.
My apps started working again on the first try. Just Microsoft, screwing things up as usual.
