Not sure what the problem is, but have you tried to see if you can do a system restore to see if it will resolve the blue screen that you're getting?

It had this problem when I had this PC for a month, so it could be related either to the OS somehow or the hardware. I do find my CPU temps on my AMD Phenom II X4 965 going 47C when I'm booting up, or logging back from idle. I might need to install a 2nd fan on my Cooler Master Hyper 212 Pro Heatsink. anyway to increase the fan speed a little bit to help with the temps?

If thats not the problem. Can somebody please tell me how i can look at that memory.dmp file to get some hints on how I can find my problem whether its hardware or software, and fix them. I would really appreciate it.

9f is usually a driver issue. Specifically, it cannot handle the power state properly. Does this happen coming out of hibernation or standby? If not, when does it occur?

You can download this and the files in red will be the supsected causes of the crash. You can either take a screenshot and post it here or just post the files in red. A user by the name of dadiggle will probably be around shortly and he is quite good at picking these apart.

In the meantime, Check in Control Panel - Device Manager to be sure major drivers are not shut off during sleep - double click Display Adapter - NIC and WIFI - Sound and others - Power Management tab - uncheck Allow computer to turn off power. Maybe only one has an issue.

Also, do you happen to have any external devices plugged in? Such as an external hard drive.

Hi this is a driver power state failure !

Most times this error is due to network drivers or a faulty psu!

I did notice my computer goes into sleep (standby), so I turned that off.

In bluescreenview I noticed my ATI Driver (atikmdag.sys) has crashed.
and ntsokrnl.exe (the windows kernel) has crashed.

nothing plugged into the usb ports except for my Playstation 3 Controller Bluetooth Adapter and USB Charging cord.

going to figure out what is wrong with my video card driver. (which is a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850)

i had a similar issue and i bought a new nvidia card and issue disappeared!

well, at least its not doing it all the time. I'm going to see if it does anything now that I changed my power settings.
