Some questions about switching to Fios

So im switching to Fios internet only, the router is scheduled to come thursday, and the technician will be here next monday. Im currently still using my spectrum WiFi, when should i cancel my current ISP? Also, am i allowed to place the ONT indoors? Also also, i want to place the router in my room so i can connect it to my pc, for wired connection, but the coax cable in my room wont work. Will he fix it? Or will i need to pay? Or will he not fix it at all.

so you dont have to pay labor rate. try following the wire from the box back to the splitter. see if it broken at the box or not connected at splitter or juction. if the wire broken at the box the tech have to strip the wire back and re crimp it.

Can cancel old ISP anytime, they just gonna pro-rate you for any portion not used during current billing period.

Fiber doesn't do coax, AFAIK, so can't place router in your room unless you have a CAT cable there.
