Some questions about the Diablo 3 CE USB soulstone...

I have some questions about the Diablo 3 Collectors Edition USB Soulstone that includes Diablo 2 and Lords of Destruction.

1. Are both games up to date with current patches?
2. Can they be installed on my computer or is the USB stick needed to play them?
3. Do they have unlimited installs?
4. And most importantly is there any client or DRM involved that it necessary to run them?

I just wanted some things cleared up. Thanks
