so i am going to build my very first pc :) i am pretty excited..but also scared..i want you to help me with some problems that i have. :)

1.are these parts compitable? so this is my build :

case : nzxt source 340
hdd : western digital caviar blue 1tb
cpu : intel core i3 6100 skylake
gpu:msi gtx960 2gb ( white )
psu : corsair cx500m
ram: corsair vengeance lpx 8gb ddr4-2133 ( 2x4 gb ) ( they are red )
motherboard : gigabyte h100m-s2h (rev.1.0)

2.will 2gb v ram be enough for games like gtav , witcher 3 etc. ?

3.can i build it on my own ?

4.will the red rams look cool on that white case? 😛

thanks 😀

I would say go for a i5, whatever class... I have a SandyBridge... i5 3750 @ 3.4 GHz, and its really wonderful. Haven't got a need to upgrade it for 4 years now. i5 is a SOLID CPU.
GPU is ok, But GTX 960 4GB is only ~20$ expensive than 2GB model, so go for a 4GB...
Rest is A-OK... :)

Ok so by what you said, I suspect these are the parts you've picked:

They are ok but may I suggest a full build? For GTA V and such I'd rely more on these:

I don't know how you feel about this but yeah, I think that's a decent build for GTA V and games alike.
The fans I added are optional but it's always good to have a few to keep the air cool and the temperatures down a notch.
Let me know what do you think about it and if something doesn't go according to what you are looking for, let me know please.

well..nope. what you suggested is far more expesive than the one i suggested...i think that this build is amazing for new games..like 100 fps .i read that this cpu and gpu can play these games at 40-50 fps at high settings.. 😛

Although the Intel i3-6100 has 4 cores, they are just 2 solid cores hyperthreading. I'd rely on a solid 4 core cpu instead. Intel i5's are the best option in my opinion. The Intel i5-4690 will do the job. 4 cores at 3.5 GHz are just the deal. Elsewhat is ok, what do you think about this:
