Some questions on first build

Hi,

Im building a computer for the first time now. I want it for gaming and general net surfing etc. I just have a few things I would like answers to before I order. My first question was is it better to go for 32 or 64 bit operating systems? I have seen some people complain that some things won't run on 64 bit. Thanks

Second is compatibility.... i'm not exactly a computer wiz and would like to make sure the parts I have in mind will work when i put them together!! Any sugestions would be nice as well :]


1-case- Coolermaster HAF 912 Plus, Black, Mid Tower Case w/o PSU

2-cpu- AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition, S AM3, 3.4GHz, 8MB Cache, 125W, Retail

3-mobo- Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5, AMD 890FX, S AM3, PCI-E 2.0 (x16), DDR3 1866(OC), SATA 6Gb/s, SATA RAID, ATX

4-GPU- 1GB Asus HD 6870 OC, 4200MHz GDDR5, GPU 915MHz, 1120 Stream Processors, DLDVI-I/ DVI-D/ HDMI/ miniDP

5- Memory- 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.65V

6- PSU- 750W Coolermaster RS750-ACAAE3-UK GX, 80 PLUS, 85% Eff', SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V, 120mm Fan

7- Hard drive- 750GB Western Digital WD7500AADS Caviar Green, SATA 3Gb/s, Intellipower, 32MB Cache, NCQ

8-DVD DRIVE- Sony AD-5260S-0B 24x DVD±R, 12xDVD±DL, DVD+RW x8/-RWx6 SATA, Black, OEM

I think they are all compatible but im not 100%. Any help would be greatly Appreciated.

If you plan on using 4GB of RAM or more then 64 bit is your the only option. There are no compatibly issues that i can tell, and i'v been running 64bit for as long as i can remember.
