Some steam games cause my skype audio to stop working.

So, whenever I start a steam game such as Rainbow Six Siege which features voice chat, my Skype will no longer register my voice on the microphone. This does NOT happen on games like Skyrim, but does happen on games like Dying Light and Borderlands 2, along with Rainbow Six Siege. Even though my microphone stops working, I can fully hear everyone else in the skype call.

I own a Blue Snowball. The microphone is indeed recognized, but no audio is actually recorded when I speak. I can fix this by quickly swapping to my webcam audio then back to the microphone, but I have to constantly re do this every so often.

I've tried disabling the ability for apps to take exclusive control of my microphone, but nothing changes. Any fixes?

Change steams default mic to something other than your headphones. Might stop all of stream taking control instead if each app
