(I posted on LTT forums too: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1547691-some-text-is-blurry-in-windows-11/)
Specs and info before I introduce the problem:
Windows 11 Home, not activated
Monitor 1 - 1440p, 170hz, 125% scaling
Monitor 2 - 1080p, 75hz, 100% default scaling
Sometimes (it seems to almost ALWAYS be in Windows-related things such as the Start menu or Task Manager) text appears blurry. It's very annoying. Here's an (awful) MS Paint drawing to show the problem. You should probably download it just so you can zoom in. Not sure if the LTT forum lets you do that or not. (**Edit: right-clicking and opening the image in a new tab works great**)
I'm assuming it has to do with the scaling being 125% on one and 100% on the other. It seems to MOSTLY fix itself when I switch the scaling to the same on both monitors. I can't switch that though, because 100% on monitor 1 is too small and 125% on monitor 2 is too big.
I already used the Adjust ClearType Text control panel. Didn't work.
Once again, it's most likely the scale but the weird thing is that when I got my second monitor I didn't have this problem when I first bought it.
It's intermittent too, it just stopped for a little bit right now and then came back.
Please help me!
