Got a new PC as below:

ConfigurationModel Number
MotherboardAsus ROG STRIX Z390-F GAMING Intel Motherboard - upto 4266mhz
Memory (RAM)G.skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200MHz Desktop RAM (NOT KIT RAM)
Power SupplyCorsair CX Series CX550 550 Watt 80 Plus Bronze Certified ATX PSU (CP-9020121-UK)
CabinetDeepcool D-SHIELD V2 Middle Tower Computer Case
MonitorDell 24inch Touch Monitor (P2418HT)
Graphic CardMSI GeForce GTX 1660 GAMING X 6GB GDDR5
SSDCrucial MX500 2TB SATA Internal Solid State Drive (CT2000MX500SSD1)
Keyboard MouseLogitech MK850 Performance Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo
UPSAPC Back UPS 1100 (BX1100C-IN)

I set it all up. There was no power cabel with the CPU, so I used my another i7's power cabel, but its all the same v and a for computers.

I connected a 2 TB HDD from old pc.

I switched it on, it worked flawlessly and I switched off immediately in a second after checking config in my PC. All good.

I then organized wires and everything, set it all nice and switched on.

I can see all lights in cpu all RGB. But monitor says no DP signal error. I tried checking all and changing cabels. But only RGB comes, computer does not start, no power to keyboard or mouse too.
So only one light in CPU. I tried to check hard disk connection and it's fine too
Fan runs. But no power even to keyboard
Or tried blue and red usb holes to see if speaker gets power, but no power comes (in red, the speaker seems to get power for 5-10 seconds and then stops)
Tried removing all and reconnecting and everything. Nothing is changing
Also after switching on cpu, it starts, blue light goes off and then starts again in a second.

Now it runs like a light show, but nothing else happens.

See images of what I see: View: https://imgur.com/a/LSa2U46

I was anticipating this for so many days and its sad, I hope its just something small that can be fixed. Please suggest.

Do you think some shorting happened, and if so, will partial power still come?

Updates:
  • I tried to disconnect HDD and SSD
  • Tried to Run with 1 RAM
  • Tried to remove that RAM and put it back
  • Tried to change DP port
-Tried to check if all plug connections are strong

Still the same, no difference.
