Some USB Ports Won't Recognize PS4 Controller

So I've been having this problem with my PC recently that's been slowly building up over time. At the beginning, me and my friends could plug in our PS4 controllers (using DS4Windows) to play games using any of the USB ports on my desktop. However, over time, one of the USB ports simply refused to recognize the controller being plugged in, with the controller's light bar still flashing yellow to indicate it was plugged into something, but without any response on the PC side.

Today, the second of my front USB ports started doing this. The USB ports still work fine with everything else, as I've tested them with my wireless mouse and flash drive, but they just don't seem to work with the controllers anymore. Since I didn't put a bluetooth chip in my desktop, I'm slowly running out of ports to use my PS4 controller with. Does anyone have a solution?

Figured it out. The issue was with drivers randomly being disabled, which provided a simple solution in going to Device Manager and re-enabling the device with a right-click on the affected marker.

what is the name of the controller in the device manager??

"HID-compliant game controller"
