Some websites taking forever to load - TP Link W8968

I'm using TP-Link W8968 Modem router with 512 kbps broadband connection. Some websites open within a second, but some other takes forever to load.

i changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but it didn't help either. I also setup optimum MTU size, as mentioned in some of the guides.

When i'm trying to ping one of the slow website, i sometimes get "Request TImed Out" error. See here: http://i.imgur.com/7KzVVD9.jpg

I'm facing this problem both via Ethernet and WiFi.

What should i do?

well there are 2 sides to this. the server on the other end of this could be under more load then it should be leading to slow returns. do these slow website have alot of pics?

No. They are normal-sized websites. Websites includes quora, yahooanswers and even tomshardware. It took me 10 minutes to open this question here.
