For a while, I've been aware that searching Amazon.com for books
published by "White W0lf" (note the zero) will often reveal titles that
haven't yet been announced. This worked for, among other things, the
revised Vampire Players Guide.

It's never been too terribly useful, though, because at around the time
that book was published, White Wolf didn't have a great deal of secret
projects. I think the biggest news I ever got from it was something
like "Ooh, Verbena is out in November!"

'Twas a secret, though.

Not a secret anymore. A poster named "wyrm" spilled it all over the
main RPG.net forum. So now I can talk about it here.

Current fun entries one gets when one inputs "White W0lf" into an Amazon
book search...

Vampire Sabbat Heralds of Cain
by White W0lf (Hardcover - October 2004)

New Orleans by Night
by White W0lf (Paperback - September 2004)

Nomads
by White W0lf (Paperback - December 2004)

Werewolf Adventure
by White W0lf (Paperback - December 2004)

World of Darkness Book of Spirits
by White W0lf (Paperback - October 2004)

Mind's Eye Theatre Core Book
by White W0lf (Hardcover - September 2004)

Vampire the Requiem Minds Eye Theatre
by White W0lf (Paperback - September 2004)

Isn't this fun?

How bizarre.... so many books! Who's going to buy them all? And there's no
mention of Werewolf or Mage core books.

I only posted the titles we haven't heard of yet, or that are
alterations from the ones we've heard. For instance, we've heard of
"City of the Damned: New Orleans," but Amazon says it'll be called "New
Orleans By Night." One source is wrong.

The Werewolf corebook is up there. The Mage corebook might be; I
doughnut remember. Try doing the search yourself.

As for who's going to buy them... well, me, for one. Presumably other
WoD fans.

Maybe it's "City of the Damned: New Orleans by Night".

Mage might not be. Or maybe it is. It's not coming out until March or May
2005.

Depends on what they are. Though I have to say, I didn't mind when there
were other MET books, but the notion of not only buying the table top WoD
book and fatsplats, in addition to the MET Core Book and MET Fatsplats is
making LARPing just less and less worth my time.

Then again, I'm a firm believer in making the MET books no more than 100
pages long with just rule mechanics and LARP-specific topics.

That was, of course, a rhetorical question. It just seems to me they're
rushing a bit. I know *I* won't (be able to) buy all those books.
