Solution
As laviniuc noted above, it is asking for the live usb flash drive (or DVD if you made a DVD).

Honestly though, if you are wanting to re-install Windows on your machine the easiest thing to do is:

-Put in your Windows Install DVD
-Restart you computer
-(If prompted to press a key to boot from DVD, press the key)
-Follow the Windows Installation procedure, and when choosing where to install select the Hard Drive that currently has Ubuntu

Windows will automatically remove Ubuntu for you during its install.

Edit: Similarly, if you want to install a different flavor of Linux like 'Linux Mint' you would need a live USB or DVD for it and choose to install over your current Ubuntu Drive. Any OS installer will usually take care of...

its my only OS . no duel boot

Well obviously you can't uninstall an OS from within itself.
Get yourself a liveCD of another Linux distro if you want that or download and burn an ISO for Windows and boot from those.
From there, you just need to format the drive (IT WILL ERASE YOUR DATA, BACKUP FIRST) and you're doing fine.

**Please remember to back up any data you want to keep before installing a new OS!!**

i have a windows disk, but when i put it in it wont run...how do i run the disk? and once i run the disk will it remove the unbuntu and replace it with the windows?

See my post above if you missed it, I wrote out the steps.

Edit: If your disk still doesn't boot after restarting your computer you might need to go into your BIOS and re-arrange the boot order.

To get into your BIOS you usually press the delete key or f12 right as the system is booting up after a restart. From there you will need to look for somewhere that says 'boot' or 'boot order' and make sure your CD/DVD player is at the top of that list. Save and restart your PC, then the DVD will run at startup.
