Hello,

all downloads (official) wont install on my amilo d 7830 i have no sound and tried absolutely everything but nothing work ive tried unistalling and installing stopping and restarting but i cant figure this out also the volume icon wont let me adjust and says i have no mixers or audio devices when i know i do and when i go to device manager everything is working properly can anyone help me?

Have you checked to see if Audio Services is started ?
no mixers or audio devices
1) Click on Start and Run
2) Type the following command and press Enter

services.msc

3) Scroll down to Windows Audio in the right-hand column and double-click on it, (Windows Audio Properties) If service is stopped, click start.

Sort it out? Sure, but state the make & model of the computer as a clue.
