Something All Displays Should be

Of course, people will start thinking the iPhone 3GS features the first "oleophobic" (resists oil) display, thanks to some fanboyish coverage by Giz. I may mistaken, but does anyone know of current displays that already resist oil and fingerprints?

I don't know any display that's like that, and I personally think that the iPhone 3GS screen is not as fingerprint- or oil-resistant as Applemodo would have you think. 😛

Would be a great piece of tech though!

Yeah, I know a guy who tried a 3GS and said it's not much of an improvement over his Touch. Noticeable, but not really significant.

Gotta give kudos to Apple for it though - it's a step in the right direction, and shows some innovation even if it's not perfect.
