[SOLVED] Something Came off Motherboard

I was cleaning my computer parts to get ready for a case switch and some upgrades and while cleaning my motherboard some small piece came off the back of it.

If I need to provide any more details please let me know, i just don’t want to hook everything up later and something mess up on my new build.

MB: MSI Z170I Gaming Pro AC Mini ITX

It looks like the pads lifted right off the board along with the IC.
If it doesn't work right anymore, you'll need to go board shopping.

yes it looks like it lol. if you love the motherboard you already have i saw a few places selling it for $110 just make sure it isn't being sold for "parts"

I don’t mind changing it for a better one, I know it’s a very old board but I don’t really know much about pcs so I was always afraid to look for upgrades. Not sure what to look for

Just so you know, motherboards can easily last for longer than 4 years but if you have microcomponents falling off, it is always a good time to get a new one.

yeah definitely, I’ll get a new one I guess while I’m upgrading some components anyways, you know any good ones?
