Something I just realized about Sidereals.

Okay, you know how Sidereals have Resplendent Destinies, and when they
spend a bunch of Motes and go all sparkly, the Resplendent Destinies
recede and even people who know the mortal identities of the Sidereals
don't realize that it's the same person? Even if they interact with that
person on a regular basis?

Okay, you know how the Sailor Scouts have regular identities as
schoolgirls, and then they go through the sparkly transformation
sequence and fight a bunch, and nobody ever recognizes that it's them,
even though they don't wear masks and look exactly the same, right down
to the improbable hair-styles?

Well, duh.

Except Usagi is a Lunar, who's totem, the Rabbit, is just *way* too
embarassing to assume a Deadly Beastman Transformation for.

Well, IIRC, Tuxedo Mask is referred to as the Prince of Earth.

Hence the whole "Prince Endymion" thing--rather clever for the Dub...

picturing Usagi's reaction to the ritual Lunar Tattoos...^__^

They didn't think of it for the dub, though. He was Endymion in
the Manga.

just "Prince Darien" in the dub...Man, I gotta watch those again...

Dex,
who liked the first Sailor Moon's dub voice better...
