Something limiting my frame rate to 113. Driving me crazy.

sorry if this is the wrong forum, i am brand new to this community.

Something is limiting my framerate to 113.

I just recently upgraded to a 8700k and a new msi tomahawk mobo.

I have a evga 1080

I double checked nvidia control panel, vsync is off. i also checked rivatuner and i tested it with frame limit set to 0 and also to 144 still capping at 113.

All the games i tried this (4 total) all seem to limit itself at 113. Double checked as well to make sure vsync is off in games.

I ran out of ideas to think as to what could be doing this.

I also unparked all my cores as well and still no resolution.


Any ideas?
