Hi everyone,
I'm writing this with a heavy heart as it seems the store has just sent me the exact faulty monitor I sent back to them. It's an LG 34UM94-C and I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything here, although I find that very unlikely.
When I first bought this monitor in the middle of december, it was making a rattling noise when I received it. Something inside of it was loose. I would turn monitor sideways or upside down and I would hear the little piece (or pieces) sliding inside. The "new monitor" I just received came with the same "problem", which is one of the reasons why I think it's the exact same one.
The second reason is that the plastic sheet that is supposed to protect the glossy plastic in the back of it is all crooked and rugged, much like when I re-packed it and sent it back... I am not 100% sure but I seem to recall the plastic being super nice and flat when I got it for the first time.
So yea... that can't be normal right? A 600 euro monitor isn't supposed to have something loose inside of it, right? Or maybe am I missing something? I don't even want to think about opening it, even though it might just be an innocent little plastic piece. I worry about warranty and I'd like to see that money back without even more problems.
I live in Sweden and ordered it from Germany, maybe transporting something this fragile across borders just isn't something that should be done, I don't know. But I'd just like to confirm that it's not normal for a monitor of this caliber to have something loose inside of it. It's my first "high-end" monitor after more than 6 years of just my laptop screen, so I'm making sure.
Thanks for any feedback,
Henry
