Something to Monitor.....T710

Hey,

I am being offered an IBM T710 TFT monitor for $300 (AUS).

Looking at pricing for this monitor around the place, I have found it to be worth around $1000 (AUS).

So I know i'm getting a good deal price wise, but does anyone know if it has the performance to back up the price?

I'll be using the monitor at home, so gaming is a must. Will visual quality suffer on this monitor/would it suffer on TFT monitors in general?

Does anyone have experience using this monitor?

$1000 AUS, isn't that like a million dollars US? I would ask if you can hook it up and try it out. It might have a bunch of dead pixels or something. Plus you can check what the ghosting is like.
