Greetings,

My mouse will jitter, stop working, lag every 10 or so seconds, not exactly.

Here's funny part. I put another mice, and it does the same thing.
Mine's MAD CATZ, this one's LOGITECH.

So if you make a circle shape and you go over and over, it'll drag and lag at some point, not allowing to complete a full circle.

This has happened to me years ago but never figure out the issue. (with a different motherboard, same mice)

What triggered it, was that I just moved a 50" TV from the back of my gaming monitor on top of my kitchen sized table desk. Some stuff was moved around but I don't know what could it be that's causing this mouse to lag every so many seconds.

(edit)
I did reinstall the driver. Same thing.

Solution

Yeah, give it a shot. Uninstall any of the mouse drivers that may be installed, then just run off whatever drivers Windows installs for the mice. Also, unplug any USB devices other than your mouse and keyboard and see what happens.

If trying another port doesn't work I would try reinstalling the USB drivers that go with the motherboard or OEM machine.

Did these mice come with special drivers? I know Razer mice come with unique driver software that makes them run better than if they are on the standard drivers Windows has.

Hey guys. THanks for the help.

Could be USB issue, except I plugged them both in different slots.

It's plugged directly into mobo.

I already reinstalled the drivers.
The logitech wasn't installed though, so I plugged, it installed drivers and still had same issue.

They do come with special drivers. It's been a year since I've been using them like this though. Very random.

I would go into device manager and look for any exclamation points or red X to indicate driver issues.

Next in device manager and under USB controllers right click everything under it and go to power management and uncheck "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". It's a bit cumbersome but it's worked for me once.

I did. It's all up to date.

the save power option isn't check-able

Thanks!

This is strange. I've no idea what it is. I moved cables a bit but nothing too serious. This is so strange.
I can't play games anymore.

No, only 1 mice I tried in another mobo and did this. Basically, I changed everything into an upgraded mobo. I thought it was some USB issue that mobo had. Now I'm having the same problem.

I upgraded a few things too.

I think it would have to be software...maybe if I uinstall the madcatz drivers?

Solution
After you said "unplug any USB devices other than your mouse and keyboard and see what happens. "
it rang in my head, I recently put a bluetooth dongle for the ps4 controller. I took it out, and the LOGITECH worked fine, while the RAT has the same problem but less. It seems the rat has always had that problem, i just didnt notice till now.
maybe that's WHY MADCATZ WENT UNDER?

Thanks guys!
