Something weird is going on here

Hi. Yesterday I got a 128GB Plextor M5S Drive.
My rig: MB:EP35D-S3L
CPU: C2D E8400@3.45
My motherboard doesn't have SATA3 and plugged the hard to SATA2.
I ran AS SSD bench and here are my results:


WTF? my read speeds are lower than write. I'm confused

Have you set the SATA mode to AHCI?

Yes. IDE mode with an SSD isn't great for the performance.

I switched to AHCI and I had to install windows 8 all over again. I'm currently downloading .net framework 2 to run AS SSD. I'll post the results as soon as it is done.
